The
Lake area is home to two outstanding school districts,
both of which are classified by the Missouri Department
of Elementary and Secondary Education as AAA, the highest
rating possible.
SCHOOL OF THE OSAGE: (Miller
County Reorganized School District #2.) The district
consists of four campuses, elementary, middle and high
school campuses. Location of the Elementary school
and Middle school is Business Hwy 42 and School Road.
The High School is located on Hwy 42. The fourth
campus, which houses grades 4-6, is also located on
Hwy 42.
CAMDENTON
R-III SCHOOLS: Elementary attendance
centers (K-5) are located in Sunrise Beach and Osage
Beach as well as the K-2 and 3-6 units in Camdenton.
Generally students in grades K-5 living on State
Road KK (in Osage Beach) and east of State Road KK attend
the Osage Beach school. Location of the Camdenton
Junior and High School is Hwy 5 south.
